Celebrating 9 years of Solespire with stronger infrastructure, sharper focus, human-first growth, and a continued commitment to building enduring digital media brands.

Today, 27 March 2026, marks nine years since I founded Solespire with my father, Kris Cyganiak.
What began as a shared entrepreneurial vision between father and son has grown into a family-led digital media company operating across Canada and Italy, shaped by years of persistence, creative conviction, technical independence, and a deep respect for the craft of publishing on the open web.
As we mark this ninth anniversary, I find myself reflecting less on expansion for its own sake, and more on the importance of refinement.
In the earlier years of Solespire, much of our energy was spent proving what was possible—building brands from the ground up, experimenting across niches, creating systems that gave us leverage, and learning through both momentum and mistakes. That phase was necessary. It gave us experience. It gave us perspective. Most importantly, it gave us the foundation from which we continue to build today.
Now, nine years in, that entrepreneurial spirit remains fully intact, albeit with greater maturity.
We have a clearer understanding of what creates lasting value. We know that real progress is not about doing more for the sake of appearing bigger. It is about doing the right things, in the right order, with greater clarity, discipline, and long-term conviction.
That is what this stage of Solespire represents for us.
Building for Longevity
At Solespire, we have never viewed our websites as disposable digital assets, nor have we approached publishing as a short-term exercise in chasing trends. From the beginning, our ambition has been to build enduring media properties—brands that compound in value over time through useful content, strong identity, technical control, trusted positioning, and loyal audience relationships.
That long-term mindset continues to guide everything we do.
Over the past year, a major part of our work has been focused on strengthening the infrastructure beneath our entire network. Behind every article, every listing, every image, every user session, and every search impression is a technical foundation that must be resilient, scalable, and efficient. While these improvements may often be invisible to the public, they are fundamental to the quality and performance of the experience we deliver.
Recently, we implemented significant dedicated server optimisations that upgraded how our infrastructure handles database activity across all Solespire-hosted websites, aligning our stack with the next decade of growth. These enhancements have materially improved performance by accelerating how pages are generated and delivered, especially across image-rich experiences where speed and responsiveness matter most.
This is particularly important for a platform like The Pinnacle List, where premium visual presentation is central to the brand experience. Pages with extensive media galleries now benefit from far more efficient server-side processing, allowing content to be delivered with greater speed and stability. That not only improves usability for our audience, but also strengthens the technical conditions that support long-term search visibility and organic growth.
This kind of work reflects something important about Solespire:
We do not simply publish on the web—we actively engineer the systems that power our presence on it.
Our commitment to building for longevity also extends beyond infrastructure. It informs how we think about design, development, editorial direction, and search strategy. Looking ahead, the next layer of this work includes new themes, new plugins, and further SEO-first development initiatives that will continue modernising our digital ecosystem from the inside out.
This next phase of development also includes the continued evolution of Solespire’s visual identity across our digital ecosystem.
In August 2025, our new Solespire brandmark logo was introduced across our social media accounts, alongside a new slogan that captures the essence of Solespire: Where Vision Becomes Digital Reality
As all Solespire websites will receive new design languages this year, each tailored to its own focus and audience, the Solespire brandmark will serve as a unifying signature across the network, strengthening continuity across our web properties, while preserving the individuality of every brand we build.
Altogether, these efforts reflect a simple principle: Solespire is built for the long term.
Human-Led, Technology-Empowered
If there is one defining reality of the present era, it is that technology is accelerating everything.
Artificial intelligence, automation, and agentic digital tools are rapidly changing how ideas are researched, organised, created, and distributed. Many companies are responding to this shift by shrinking their teams and treating AI as a replacement for people. At Solespire, we are moving in the opposite direction.
We believe the strongest companies of the future will not be the ones that remove the human element from their work, but the ones that preserve and strengthen it.
That is why Solespire remains committed to a human-first approach to growth.
We embrace technology enthusiastically, but with clarity about its role. AI can assist. It can accelerate workflows. It can reduce friction. It can help us think broader, move faster, and execute more efficiently. But, it does not replace human taste, human judgment, human responsibility, or the human spirit that gives meaningful creative work its substance.
At Solespire, people still create. People still decide. People still shape the ideas, voice, standards, aesthetics, and direction of the brands we build.
This matters deeply in publishing. In a world increasingly flooded with automated output, the differentiator is no longer merely the ability to produce content. It is the ability to produce with clarity, consistency, credibility, and editorial discernment. Trust matters. Standards matter. Human oversight matters.
We use AI as an aide—a powerful one—but still only as a tool. It supports our team. It does not define our team. It helps us augment human capability, not replace human creativity.
In this way, Solespire remains humanist in spirit, technologically empowered in execution, and committed to building a company that grows with people at its centre.
Growing the Team, Strengthening the Company
Solespire began as a founder-led company, and it remains one.
My father, Kris Cyganiak, and I continue to guide Solespire directly, just as we have since the company’s founding in 2017 and, in many ways, long before that through the years of projects and ideas that preceded it. That continuity remains one of the company’s defining strengths, as Solespire is still deeply rooted in the entrepreneurial rhythm of a family business—one built with patience, resilience, accountability, and a genuine belief in what can be achieved over the long term.
At the same time, Solespire is evolving.
As the company continues to mature, so too does our operational structure. We are expanding our human capabilities, not reducing them. One important example of this is the growth of our luxury real estate marketing services at The Pinnacle List, with a new sales team headed by Andrea Jauck. This marks a meaningful step forward in strengthening the commercial side of the brand and supporting the next phase of its development, as The Pinnacle List reaches a new growth inflection point.
That growth is important, not only because it increases capacity, but because it reinforces something we strongly believe:
The future of a company like Solespire is not built by removing people from the process. It is built by bringing the right people into it.
As we continue growing, our aim is not to become bloated or bureaucratic. Solespire will remain intentionally lean, agile, and entrepreneurial, while building a stronger company around a more capable team, with people who can help elevate the quality, reach, and resilience of the work we do.
Focus is a Force Multiplier
One of the most valuable lessons of entrepreneurship is learning that focus is not a limitation. It is a force multiplier.
Over time, you begin to better understand the difference between motion and progress, between activity and effectiveness, between the temptation to do everything and the discipline to do what matters most.
That lesson has become increasingly important to how we operate at Solespire.
We continue to believe in ambition. We continue to believe in new ideas. We continue to believe in building original digital brands with distinctive identities and long-term potential. At the same time, we also understand that enduring success depends on alignment, and on knowing where to direct attention, where to invest time, and what deserves the full weight of our effort.
For us, this means continuing to strengthen the brands with the clearest foundations, the strongest strategic fit, and the most durable upside. It means improving what already works, while methodically preparing for what comes next. It means being thoughtful in expansion, precise in execution, and uncompromising in quality.
For us, scale only matters if quality scales with it.
The goal is not simply to grow bigger.
The goal is to grow better.
Looking Ahead to Year Ten
As we enter our tenth year, I feel both grateful and energised:
- Grateful for the journey that began with an idea between me and my father.
- Grateful for the years of persistence that turned that idea into a real company.
- Grateful for the support of our readers, viewers, clients, partners, and wider community.
- Grateful for the opportunity to continue building independently, creatively, and on our own terms.
And energised because Solespire still feels like a company with so much more ahead of it, as there is:
- More to build.
- More to refine.
- More to publish.
- More to design.
- More to optimise.
- More to prove.
The internet continues to evolve. Search continues to evolve. Media continues to evolve. The tools continue to evolve. Yet, amidst all of that change, the underlying opportunity remains remarkably consistent for those willing to do the work:
Create something useful, create something trusted, and keep showing up with enough consistency and care for that work to matter over time.
That is what Solespire is here to do.
Nine years after our founding, we remain committed to building original digital media brands with substance, beauty, technical depth, and long-term value. We remain committed to thoughtful innovation, entrepreneurial resilience, and the belief that independent, family-built companies still have the power to create something remarkable in a connected world.
Thank you for being part of Solespire’s journey.
